1) How do I get fitted for Ben Hogan golf clubs?

If you don’t already know your specifications we recommend you see your local PGA Professional, or visit a company that specialises in custom-club fitting. You can then can send the specifications provided to you to the Ben Hogan Golf Equipment Company so we can custom-build tour-quality irons, wedges, hybrids and utility clubs for you. There is never any charge for loft, lie, and length customisation, and we provide standard or mid-sized grip options. Best of all, you’ll receive your Ben Hogan golf clubs directly from the factory without paying any retail mark-up.

2) What are your customer service hours?

European customer service is available by calling 0800 170 0186.  Calls are free within the UK, and customer service hours are Monday – Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM UK.  From outside the UK, please call +44 800 170 0186.  Alternatively please email europe@benhogangolf.com, and we will respond within two business days.

3) Why do our clubs tend to measure long?

There are no true ‘industry standards’ when it comes to club length and many other club specifications as every manufacturer is different.  Our length standards are based on the historic Ben Hogan method of measuring on a Hogan length board to the last grip ring.

Our standard lengths, which are shown for each product along with other important specifications on our website, tend to be on the longer side when compared with those of other companies. 

We measure the overall length of our clubs from the ‘heel’ of the club head to the second ring on the grip’s butt cap, this is where the shaft typically ends. This was as per specified by Mr Hogan himself. 

Also, at Mr. Hogan’s insistence, we firmly believe in producing a consistent 4-degree loft gap between each iron to provide meaningful carry and total distance differences (ideally between 12 – 15 yards) between each club. 

The lengths and lofts of our shorter, scoring irons tend to be similar to many competitive clubs, but Ben Hogan mid- and long irons (specifically the #4 iron through the #6 or #7 iron) have weaker lofts. 

As a result, the lofts and lengths of our longer irons specifications are sometimes quite different when compared to those of manufactured by our competitors who ‘compress’ lofts between these irons. In effect, this loft compression combined with very little difference in overall club length creates very little difference in overall distance between irons. Ben Hogan long irons will create higher initial launch angles but similar overall carry and total distances when compared to competitive irons with stronger lofts and shorter lengths. 

 4) When will I receive my order?

Most orders are shipped within 7-10 business days after your order is placed. Our clubs are built to order in the Ben Hogan factory in Fort Worth, Texas, so shipping to customers in Europe can add up to 5 days for delivery.  Once your order has shipped, you will receive an email shipping confirmation containing your tracking number with a link to the carrier's website to track your shipment progress.

Please ensure that for deliveries that you are available to receive the package on the specified date. If the shipper is UPS then please sign into ‘UPS My Choice” to facilitate delivery. Ben Hogan Golf cannot be held responsible for deliveries that are not signed for or left in an unsecured place.

5) Do you make left-handed clubs?

Currently only our Equalizer Wedges and Edge Irons are available in left-handed models.

6) Can I order just the wedges?

Yes, absolutely.  You may select only the wedge lofts you desire to ensure a seamless transition to your irons and proceed to checkout.

7) Do you sell 'short' iron sets or 'split' sets made up of various models?

Yes - our new Combo Sets allow you to get the best of both worlds - the feel of a bladed iron in the short irons, the forgiveness of a game improvement club in the long irons.

8) Are the ICON irons defined as “blades”, and made only for the better player?

We actually try to avoid the use of the oft-repeated terms “blade” and “game improvement” to define irons. And the ICON irons blur that line anyway. We have applied an entirely new approach to iron weighting to deliver the precision, feel and ball control normally reserved for “blades”, with a measure of forgiveness that compares to any “game improvement” design. The result is that you no longer have to sacrifice one for the other. Our testing proves that most golfers of 12-15 handicap and lower will experience improved performance with the ICON irons. 

9) Do you sell components only? Things like heads, grips, etc.?

We do not sell individual components - all clubs are fully assembled when shipped from our facility.

10) What are my shaft and grip options for the clubs?

Availability is shown on the order pages.   We currently offer seven  different iron shaft options (steel and graphite combined).  For VKTR hybrids, we offer seven different graphite shaft options.  We also offer standard and mid-sized grips, all at no additional charge.

11) How do I track my order?

After placing your order, you will receive an email confirmation. When your order is complete and shipped, you will receive an additional email with your tracking information.

12) What forms of payment do you take?

We accept payment by VISA, MasterCard, American Express and PayPal.

Please note that all orders placed in EUR are taken in GBP as the website operates a GBP payment policy. your invoice will also be issued in GBP.

13) What is your warranty policy?

We believe the Ben Hogan Golf Equipment Company designs and manufactures the finest golf club ever made. Our team of craftsman in our Fort Worth, Texas factory assemble each club by hand... one at a time. We guarantee our workmanship for a period of one year after purchase. If you have an issue with any club purchased directly from the Ben Hogan Golf Equipment Company, we will be happy to assist in correcting the situation by repairing or replacing your clubs. 

14) Who determines if a club should be covered under warranty or if damages occurred by abuse etc.?

All warranty claims are evaluated by our Customer Service team. Please contact us if you have a question or problem that needs to be addressed.

15) What is your return policy?

We believe Ben Hogan Golf equipment is manufactured to the highest possible design and quality standards, and will deliver the performance demanded by the best players in the world. As specified by our warranty policy, we stand behind all our products and will correct any issues related to manufacturing and/or workmanship for one year. We will gladly accept returns on new, unused product in original packaging for a period of 30 days after purchase. We will not accept returns or issue refunds for ANY used product, under any circumstances.

16) Do you repair any Ben Hogan Equipment produced by the previous company or another manufacturer of Ben Hogan Equipment?

Unfortunately, we cannot repair or support of any products that were sold by a previous iteration of the Ben Hogan Golf Equipment Company. 

17) How do you protect my information?

We respect the privacy and security of our users.
